This is my home within my home. I share the space with my granddaughter who loves the fluorescent colors when the black lights are on and the room is dark. It is a place that nurtures creativity and a sense of wonder and is filled with toys to enhance the creative experience.
You will see an electric bass guitar, a 6-string electric guitar, my trusty old Bach Stradivarius, and a Casio keyboard. Except for the trumpet I don’t know how to play any of them but it is one of my retirement goals.
My girlfriend stands in the corner wearing a “water buffalo” hat and brandishing a couple of tiny shiny bugles. She makes sure I don’t get out of hand. Another scantily clad woman (she’s wearing red heels) fights a bull on my wall and is waiting for me to dump the other woman in the corner. Normlly, I abhor bullfighting but no bulls were actually harmed in the making of that artwork. The Navigator is cool with my sidechicks and has not expressed any animosity toward them (yet).
Several Corvette related items adorn the walls including a poster signed by Zora Arkus Duntov, the father of the Corvette. I actually shook his hand at a Bloomington Gold Corvette Corral in Bloomington, Illinois in the 1980s. Bloomington was a beautiful small town and it literally vibrated with the rumble of Corvettes during the Bloomington Gold shows. I purchased Bigblock in Bloomington, Illinois in 1986.
I picked Bigblock up a week later in Onalaska, Wisconsin on July 4, 1986 and drove it to Miami with my brother Rich. July 4 – AMERICA! One of the most memorable road trips of my life. Got into two races, a Jaguar and a 280- or 300Z, and blew them both off the road.
I recorded the video this morning and slapped some music on it. The music was courtesy of:

So this is my sanctuary. Drop me a note and tell me what you think.
I like it . Who are the side chicks? Anyone I know?
Keep writing
Thanks. The main sidechick is the queen in the corner wearing the bugles and the marching band water buffalo hat. She poses seductively to try to distract me from the things I need to do. The other one is the bullfighter girl on my wall who is trying desperately to taunt a bull with her birthday suit but the bull is more interested in the red cape.
